What’s more, we want to share it with you. You can see our books and products in, Our ShopWe disrupt bad food practices through menu takeovers, workshops and dining experiences, as well as challenging assumptions about Caribbean food.

What is a plant-powered vegan?

We eat seasonal vegetables, raw food, wholefoods and pulses, that are free from preservatives and refined sugar. Above all, none of our recipes use canned foods #noCANdo. Similarly we keep everything as fresh as possible, while also cutting down prep and clean-up time.

What does Electric Future Foods mean?

ELECTRIC. Plants are full of electric sunlight energy. In light of this, we update traditional Caribbean recipes, like mac & cheese or oxtail soup, with nutritious veggies. This means we harness plant power without compromising on flavour.

FUTURE. Many food systems are proving unsustainable. Therefore, by combining Caribbean cooking customs with plant-powered principles, we preserve a rich history and ensure its place in the future.

FOODS. Food brings people together. Most importantly, it can empower the collective and sustain the individual. Nutritious food is easy to access if we pay attention to nature. So, by homegrowing, connecting with our local communities or even foraging, we can improve our health and knowledge.
